Research Summary:
The Sherlock lab uses experimental approaches to understand the evolutionary process, specifically interested in i) the rate of the beneficial mutation, ii) in the distribution of fitness effects of beneficial mutations, iii) the identities of beneficial mutations and iv) how these change as a function of genotype, ploidy, and environment.
